Engineers India Limited Placement Papers

EIL or Engineers India Limited hold exams in a number of places in order to provide engineering  and technical services to a number of fields like oil and petroleum, petrochemical industries etc. The total number of marks assigned is 150. The EIL placement paper mainly consists of two sections. The first part is an Aptitude test of 50 marks. The second part is a technical test of 100 marks. The time duration for the exam is two hours.

The technical questions could include topics from instrumentation, power electronics etc. There are math and analogy related questions as well in association with general knowledge and current affairs questions. There is a ¼ negative marking so as to dissuade the students from indulging into false guesses. Each question carries a single mark. Each question further has multiple choices.

The candidate is expected to shade or darken the correct answer in a separate answer sheet. The paper is subjected to computerized assessment. Therefore, it is very important to be neat in your shading. . Since there is negative marking on the paper it is important to curb the tendency to answer even if not sure. It is a scoring paper if your concepts are clear and practice is sufficient.
